FTTP, SEP & BAU BT works

BACKGROUND

Morrison’s Utilities on behalf of BT/Openreach have a requirement for high-speed fibre delivery in these areas.

SCOPE OF WORK

KMCO Group helped to design, plan and deliver high speed “Passive optical networks” and “Business as usual” in all the above regions.

Passive optical networks (PON) -  is a system that brings optical fibre cabling and signals all or most of the way to the end user. Depending on where the PON terminates, the system can be described as fibre-to -the-curb (FTTC), fibre-to the-building (FTTB), or fibre-to-the-home (FTTH).

KMCO Group supplied cabling, jointing, overhead and testing crews on this project. We delivered  PON areas on time during 2016/2017. These works are still ongoing.

Business as usual – All daily works required to maintain/renew current networks.

KMCO Group provided a full range of crews to carry out any required daily works. This includes fibre & copper cable pulling, fibre splicing/copper jointing and testing. We have complete 1600 orders from Jun 2016 to Jun 2017. These works are still ongoing.
